The new opus of anthology series The Twelve.
The Cinderella Murder is a character-driven murder mystery which revolves around a jury of the people in a murder trial. Twelve citizens are called up for jury duty on a controversial murder case. They do not have an easy task ahead of them. They will decide on the guilt or innocence of Anton Bergman (48) and his daughter, Julie (20), who are accused of murdering Marianne Coens (45), Anton’s partner and Julie’s stepmother. Daughter Julie, however, claims she acted alone, and father Anton proclaims his innocence. But the prosecution believes Julie is just protecting her father and that the two of them committed the murder together. The lives of the jury members are also impacted with some twists and turns as this sensational murder case unfolds.
