During a school visit to Auschwitz, Baptiste, a 17 year old boy, is shocked by his « lack of feeling ». In an attempt to understand his own reaction, he contacts Denise Holstein, 92, the last living Holocaust survivor from his hometown, Rouen. A strong friendship will bond them, as they work on the issue of memory and the inheritance of history.
