CLIMATE CHANGE IN BANGLADESH

While traveling through Bangladesh, from the Southern Bengal’s bay to the “Chars” -those Northern precarious Islands-, through Dacca or Chittagong -the largest Graveyard in the world-, this short documentary directed by Yann Arthus-Bertrand features the country’s crucial fight against climate change.

It is the largest delta in the world… And it is a country. Its name is Bangladesh. Almost three hundred watercourses pass through Bangladesh. They shape the country’s geography and the lifestyle of its people.

Here and for all, water remains the main resource, whether talking of fishing or agriculture, on which nearly 70% of Bangladeshi are depending. However, today, that lifelong ally has become a true threat.
