FEDERATION ENTERTAINMENT (Pascal Breton and Lionel Uzan) and SO IN LOVE, the media production arm for SO PRESS (Franck Annese and Brieux Férot) announce MH370 (5 X 45’), a compelling docu-series that explores the tragic and sudden disappearance of the Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 flight in 2014 and how to this day there are still no tangible explanations as to what actually happened.
The series is co-developed with France Télévisions. Catherine Alvaresse, Head of Documentaries for France Télévisions unveiled the project during a press conference at Sunny Side of the Doc.
Catherine Alvaresse, Head of Documentaries, France Télévisions said: “France Télévisions documentaries intend to make sense of the world in all its nuances and complexities. Franck Annese and Brieux Férot, Producers at SO IN LOVE jointly commented: “This marks one of the most important investigative reports in the history of So Press. As such, we thrilled to be partnering with Catherine Alvaresse and the France Télévisions team, as well as our continued collaboration with Federation Entertainment which is just going from strength to strength.”
Myriam Weil, Head of Documentaries, Federation Entertainment: « Since its inception, Society magazine has been producing original stand-out and in-depth reports, leaving no stone unturned. Working in collaboration with this super editorial team and France Télévisions is stimulating from both a content and narrative perspective, especially on a subject as sensitive as the disappearance of MH370. «
MH 370
The disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 is a complete mystery, horrific yet captivating. How a Boeing 777 jet with 239 passengers on board could simply vanish into the night sky is incomprehensible in today’s age of satellites, Internet and global surveillance. The fact that seven years later there are still no plausible explanations is beyond belief and virtually impossible to come to terms with. This has resulted in an overwhelming drive to search for the truth.
MH370 is the story of this burning quest. This unique documentary steps into the world of the victim’s families, speaks to professional investigators, and features eye-witness accounts from individuals who have never spoken publicly…that is until now!
Federation Entertainment will handle worldwide sales for MH370.
Federation and So Press, two extremely innovative companies in their respective fields, announced a strategic partnership in December 2020. This project marks the first documentary co-production between Federation and So In Love (So Press Group’s production subsidiary).
Federation and So In Love also have another collaboration underway with the Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès case, a drama series based on the high-profile investigation published as a double spread feature in Society, which created quite a stir last August.
