A delightful Christmas comedy where even the coldest of hearts can thaw.
Hubert is a grumpy and solitary old man who hates people, children, and most of all, Christmas. Which poses a bit of a problem, seeing as he lives in the nicest house in Hochpfeiferheim, a charming Alsatian village near the French German border, whose survival depends on winning a Christmas lights competition.
As Christmas Eve approaches, Hubert breaks his leg, and the local mayor assigns Nora as his caregiver, a cheerful and outspoken single mother …And with her, comes her ten-year-old son, a bundle of energy who’s about to turn Hubert’s quiet life upside down. This unlikely trio might end up lighting up not only Hubert’s house, but maybe also his frozen heart!
