Inside Baghdad

While the Middle East is threatened by the Islamic State, the protection of Baghdad becomes a geopolitical challenge, and has triggered unthinkable international coalitions – USA with Iran. This is the story of the city told with two approaches:  its management by the federal power and allies, and the daily life of its people. While Baghdad is torn apart by ethnic and religious divisions, it remains the only place in the Middle East where Shiites and Sunnis still cohabit. The question is: for how long?
