A House to Die For

A young couple finally buys their dream home... but the owner isn't dying anytime soon, and now her ruthless stepson wants it too.

Benjamin and Amélie, in their early thirties, struggle to buy a house, despite working hard. That is, until they hear about a golden opportunity: a stunning lakeside house within their budget. The only condition is that its elderly owner, Nicolette, retains the right to live there until she dies, apparently very soon. What could go wrong? It’s only after signing the deal that they realize their mistake: Nicolette is not dying at all! She is strong, sharp, full of energy, and not willing to let anyone take over her home! Trapped in a house they technically own but cannot live in, Benjamin and Amélie spirals into an increasingly absurd situation… and as if things weren’t complicated enough, a new threat appears in the form of Nicolette’s stepson, a ruthless individual, determined to put her into a retirement home and take the house for himself. Now Benjamin and Amélie have to choose: get rid of Nicolette… or protect her?
