HEART OF A KILLER

Dasi Nakash is a rising star in the hospital’s surgical unit. When her childhood friend Tomer is suddenly removed from the kidney transplant list, Dasi runs through every official channel to fix what she believes is a mistake – to no avail. As Tomer’s condition worsens, a close friend begs her to consider the unthinkable: an illegal transplant, performed off the books. Dasi discovers Tomer’s removal from the list was not an isolated incident – it was part of a scheme led by her mentor, Dr. Sheffer, who has been shuffling rankings on the candidate list for profit. And then, unexpectedly the body of a violent criminal with a perfectly viable kidney is brought to the hospital morgue. Dasi makes a split-second decision: she will retrieve the kidney, perform the illegal transplant, and save Tomer’s life. When she is caught and fired from the hospital, Dasi swears to expose its corrupt system. But once money becomes tight, she’s dragged into the shadow world of illegal transplants
and discovers a newfound power that may cost her her soul.
