For many years, Federation Studios and its producers have been committed to promoting more eco-friendly TV and film productions. In recent months, they have distinguished themselves by receiving a significant number of “Eco-Label” certifications.
The Ecoprod Label highlights and rewards initiatives by audiovisual professionals committed to sustainable development and environmental responsibility. Federation Studios has been a member of the Ecoprod association since 2024.
Since the beginning of 2025, 4 productions from Federation Studios have received the Ecoprod label (French Lover for Netflix, A case for kin (episodes 4 and 5)for France Télévisions, as well as the feature film Family Price), bringing the total number of certified productions to 11, with 6 more currently in the process of being awarded the label.
Axel Diverrez, CSR Manager / Federation Studios, has recently been elected to Ecoprod’s board, further strengthening Federation’s commitment with the association.
Additionally, since 2023, six productions from the group have also earned the Responsible Production label from Flying Secoya, another company that supports sustainable audiovisual production and recognizes committed projects’ efforts.
Eco-production is one of the key pillars of Federation Studios’ global CSR strategy. Which aims to promote a more sustainable production model, both environmentally and socially, across all phases of the production process, from development to distribution. This commitment takes shape through the implementation of a roadmap and an annual CSR report, as well as the group’s first carbon footprint assessment and an upcoming decarbonization pathway strategy.
More broadly, Federation Studios’ CSR approach includes a range of initiatives such as awareness and training programs on environmental challenges within the audiovisual field, along with concrete actions to promote equal opportunity and the emergence of talents from all background.
