For immediate release
Federation Studios’ distribution division is bolstered by the lineup of Calt Distribution, the international sales branch of Robin & Co. that was created 15 years ago.
Lucile Avezard, formerly International Sales Manager for Calt Distribution, is joining Federation Studios’ sales division, co-headed by Monica Levy and Guillaume Pommier.
For the record, Calt Distribution took home last month the prestigious Unifrance Audiovisual Export Award for Legacy, the groundbreaking documentary directed by Yann Arthus-Bertrand. This award, which acknowledges French programs with the greatest number of exports in a given category in any given year is fantastic recognition of Calt Distribution’s achievement: Legacy (produced by Hope Production for M6, with the participation of Omega and the GoodPlanet Foundation) has been sold on all continents, to public and private channels alike, as well as platforms such as Prime Video in the United States and the United Kingdom.
Legacy is one of Calt Distribution’s gems alongside various other Robin & Co. products, including Kaamelott and Camera Café. The latter has been adapted locally in over 27 countries and is still very much alive and well, with new seasons and feature films to its credit.
With the addition of Calt Distribution’s programs, Federation’s line-up expends to include premium programs across all genres: short format, fiction, documentaries, shows and concerts. They are also bringing additional savoir faire to the table in the fields of comedy and filming of live shows, two areas in which Calt enjoys renowned expertise.
Last September, Federation’s distribution division announced structural changes designed to support the rapid expansion of its catalog and business volume. This included the appointment of Guillaume Pommier as Co-Head of Distribution alongside Monica Levy.
This merging of Federation and Calt’s distribution divisions is a significant milestone in the collaboration between Federation Studios (the parent company) and its subsidiaries, Robin & Co (Jean-Yves Robin’s group) having joined forces with Pascal Breton’s group in February 2022.
