Ginger & Fed (a Federation’s label) and WTFilms announce raft of sales for apocalyptic thriller SURVIVE following AFM

Apocalyptic thriller Survive, introduced at AFM (the American Film Market) earlier this month, has already resulted in numerous deals worldwide. It is the first film to be released by the newly created Federation’s studios label Ginger& Fed, dedicated to international theatrical film sales. WTFilms is co-handling international sales and was in charge of presenting the film at AFM.

Deals have been closed in the UK, Australia, and New Zeeland (Signature Entertainment), Germany (Capelight), Italy (Eagle Pictures), Spain (A Contracorriente Films), CIS (exl Ukraine), Baltic States (UVR), Ukraine (Top Film Distribution), Poland (M2 Films), Hungary (Vertigo Media), Benelux (Vertigo Films Distribution), the Middle East (Salim Ramia), Latin America (Gussi),  South Korea (Scene and sound), Turkey (Chantier), The Philippines (808 Films), Malaysia, Vietnam and Cambodia.

Survive is the new movie from the producers of global hit Revenge. It is produced by Monkey Pack (part of Robin&Co, a Federation company) and M.E.S Productions. The film, featuring Émilie Dequenne (Love Affair(s), Rosetta) and Andreas Pietschmann (Dark) is directed by Frédéric Jardin (Sleepless night). KMBO will release it theatrically in France.  

Synopsis : Julia and her loving husband celebrate her son’s birthday on their boat in the middle of the ocean. When a violent storm nearly capsizes them, the family awakes in a desert land. Earth has undergone a tragic polarity reversal, draining water from the oceans. After her husband’s death, Julia must save her children in a world where hungry creatures from the abyss hunt for fresh flesh!

Ginger & Fed is a label dedicated to international theatrical film sales created in September 2023 by Federation Studios (the group created by Pascal Breton, and co-led by Lionel Uzan and Marco Chimenz) and Sabine Chemaly, former Head of International Sales at TF1 Studio.

The first film to be introduced by Ginger & Fed are SURVIVE, a post-apocalyptic thriller produced by Monkey Pack (Robin&Co, a Federation company) and M.E.S Productions, with international sales co-handled by WTFilm, Rachel’s Game, a police comedy directed by Thierry Klifa featuring Fanny Ardant , Mathieu Kassovitz , Nicolas Duvauchelle, and Laetitia Dosch and produced by Nolita and Oldies but Goodies, a comedy directed by Claude Zidi Jr (Tenor) and featuring Kev Adams (The New Adventures of Aladdin) alongside Jean Reno (Leon, Da Vinci Code, The Squad).
