Picture Perfect Federation (PPF) is a joint venture formed by entertainment industry leader Patrick Wachsberger’s Picture Perfect Entertainment and Pascal Breton and Lionel Uzan of studio Federation Entertainment. The new entity is dedicated to the development and production of premium television series and films for the global marketplace on all platforms as well as engaging in international co-productions.
The studio is poised to develop, deficit finance, and distribute premium content across the globe. The team of Wachsberger, who most recently served as Chairman of Lionsgate Motion Picture group, and Breton and Uzan, Chairman and CEO of Federation Entertainment respectively, brings decades of combined creative and financial expertise to the venture as well as a deep understanding of financing and the direct relationships to engage production and financial partners from around the globe.
Partners Wachsberger and Ashley Stern, President of Federation Entertainment of America, represent the joint venture in Los Angeles. The U.S. operations have “The Department,” based on Federation’s “Le Bureau,” greenlit with Paramount network shooting in 2023 and the English language adaptation of Norwegian series, “One Night” with a top streamer among a robust slate of high profile TV series. The company’s development slate features premium series such as “Bad Banks” being developed by Stephany Folsom alongside Rian Johnson’s T-Street and fantasy series “The Mirror Visitor Quartet” based on the acclaimed 4 part book series.
With Wachsberger’s expertise, PPF has also launched a film slate including Sian Heder’s follow up to Oscar®-winning CODA— the film IMPOSSIBLE US based on the novel of the same title. PPF is also adapting Amazon’s #1 psychological thriller, A PERFECT MARRIAGE. And the company begins production this Spring on BAD GENIUS, written by Julius Onah & J.C. Lee in collaboration with Erik Feig’s Picturestart.
