Cottonwood Media, the Kids & Family production company and subsiduary of Federation Studios, announces the appointment of Geneviève de Landtsheer as Chief Finance Officer, effective immediately.
Prior to joining Cottonwood, Geneviève served as Chief Financial Officer at Cognacq-Jay Image, a company specializing in content management, TV channel distribution, and OTT platforms, which she joined in 2019. Geneviève de Landtsheer has a long-track record in the media and international production industry, having also worked as CFO & Business Development Director at Aden Digital Advisory and at Orange Studio, and as Chief Content Officer at Altice. She started her career at the international accounting firm KPMG working between Paris and Sydney.
In her new role at Cottonwood, Geneviève will contribute to the strategic growth of the company founded by David Michel, Zoé Carrera Allaix, and Cécile Lauritano. She will use her expertise to support the financial arrangements required by Cottonwood Media’s unique business model, as the company continues to build on its impressive line-up of international co-productions and developments (working with leading broadcasters/streamers such as Hulu, HBO Max, ZDF ,Apple TV, to name a few).
Geneviève de Landtsheer will report directly to Cécile Lauritano and David Michel and will be supported by Cottonwood’s finance and accounting team that she will oversee.
