ALTER EGO

Joseph Batista, a man of few words yet deeply human police officer, returns to Marseille after thirty years in Paris. He has a very good reason to come back: he has just learned that he has a daughter, Anaïs, as well as a grandson he has never met. Anaïs, now an adult, works as an investigating judge, and is determined to make him pay for his absence. 

Meanwhile, Samy Kaddourian is a brilliant yet chaotic lawyer juggling three kids on his own. He also defends the very suspects Castella is determined to put behind bars. 

 Joseph and Samy form an unlikely duo. Yet, they keep running into each other on criminal cases, on opposite sides, but both fighting for justice. 

Case after case, they will clash, argue but gradually… grow fond of one another… Could it be that they both found their alter ego?
