Paris, July 1942, based on a true story. As the rounding up of Jewish families multiply, 13-year-old Tauba, and her parents, Polish Jews, find refuge in a tiny room, under the roofs of Paris. Living conditions are tough, and each day merges into the next when you are locked up in only 6 square meters, and in constant fear of being discovered. But while her parents sink further into despair, Tauba’s fighting spirit shines through! She finds joy in all manner of things, from a piano drawn on the floor, to marveling at the views of Paris through an open window. Despite the extreme circumstances of her daily life, she will keep hope until the liberation of Paris, and take back control of her life.
