Babies, Biology, Business: how far will one woman go to become a mother?
Elin and Bjørn are planning to adopt. Their relationship will not survive any more IVF but Elin struggles to give up completely. As a gynecologist with her own fertility clinic, she is surrounded by
hope and opportunity. She obsessively begins treating herself in secret…
Filippa Wallestam, NENT Group Chief Content Officer said: “We’re thrilled to receive this nomination at the prestigious Monte-Carlo Television Festival—and very proud to be contributing to
such a complex theme as fertility and childbearing through a pioneering sustainability-focused production. Viaplay is the leading Nordic drama producer, with at least 70 Viaplay Originals set to premiere this year, and it’s so exciting that our unique storytelling is increasingly receiving international attention.”
Monica Levy, Head of International, Federation said: “We are extremely proud to be nominated for this Golden Nymph award. Made in Oslo, a drama series straight from Norway tackles the very modern and complex subject of fertility with great delicacy. A woman, filled with compassion for her patients and loved ones, will go to endless and dangerous lengths to become a mother herself.”
Nina B. A. Figenschow and Ingunn Sundelin, Made in Oslo producers, Tordenfilm said: “We are absolutely delighted that Made in Oslo will be taking part in the 61st Monte-Carlo Television Festival. It is an honor for the series to be highlighted at the festival, allowing the story to reach a wider audience. To be nominated in the Golden Nymph awards affirms the hard work of everyone involved in bringing this high-quality production of a vital, universal theme to our screens.”
The 61 st Monte-Carlo television festival will take place from 17–21 June 2022.
The winners will be announced at a glamorous Red-Carpet Awards Ceremony at the Grimaldi Forum on the final evening of the festival, on Tuesday 21 June, in the presence of Honorary President, H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco.
