The film joins the world of social media creators and film-makers
Leading film and TV producer Vertigo Films, part of Federation Studios, is thrilled to announce the start of principal photography on Spider Island, a high-octane comedy-horror shot on location in Mauritius.

Comedy horror director Christopher Smith (Creep, Severance, Triangle) leads a diverse cast of actors and international social media sensations such as Rose Williams, Tim McInnerny, Avani Gregg, Owen Warner, Andy Nyman, Lena Mahfouf and Anuschka Van Lent.
A bold mix of horror, humour, and social commentary, Spider Island promises to be a horror thrill ride as well as a comedic satire on our social media led world.

The film is produced by Allan Niblo and James Richardson for Vertigo Films alongside Mike Knowles for Now Films. Jane Moore is Executive Producer for Vertigo Films. Protagonist Pictures are selling the film internationally.
